Many look forward to Memorial Day weekend as a time to reflect, celebrate and usher in the Summer season. Kansas City is usually full of fun events to honor those who have served our country, but this year will look a little different. With social distancing measures still in effect for the 2020 holiday, many events have been cancelled or otherwise affected. But just because the big events have been cancelled, that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun celebrating with your family.

KC Riverfest: 3:30-11p afternoon of entertainment including three stages of live music, U.S. Navy Blue Angels flyover, an Aeroshell Aerobatic Team performance, kids activities, street performers, all the food, and of course, FIREW
