Man, how is 2019 already over? I swear I was just typing out my goals for the start of the year, and here we are, starting another chapter.
When I first started this blog, I had no idea where it would go or how long I would even do it. I love to answer questions about my experiences in the modeling industry and I also love to write, so I thought that this would be a great way to get the information out for anyone to reference anytime they needed some advice. When I made the website and made my first post, I honestly didn’t think anyone would read it. While I’m not bringing in millions of viewers daily (maybe one day!), the first full year of My Model Reality being live was more successful than I ever thought it could be.
Working full time while also trying to spend time with family & friends means that I can’t always give as much attention to the blog as I’d like. Despite that, all you wonderful people keep returning to read the content that I put out, and for that I am truly grateful!
I ran my analytics for the entire year, and the below were my top 5 posts for 2019:
Although 2019 was a great year for My Model Reality, my plan for 2020 is to hit the ground running and make the blog even better than before. I don't like to start the year off by setting crazy resolutions and then stressing about how I am going to achieve them, but I do have some goals that I'd like to accomplish before this new year comes to a close.
Some of my blog goals for 2020 are:
Be more organized
Plan more posts in advance to help streamline my time & reduce the late night/early morning rushes to get them uploaded
Get out more content & drive more visitors to the site than I did in 2019
Get featured in more publications/other websites
Have more collaboration posts
I feel that these goals are achievable, and it makes me excited to see what the end of 2020 looks like compared to the end of 2019.
Thank you all so much for following and reading my blog! I can’t tell you how much it means to me to have people message me or come up to me and tell me how much they enjoyed a post or how much it helped them. It makes all the late nights so worth it. I can’t wait to see what this next year has in store!
Cheers to 2020!
